What is happening?

The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Paisley in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING
Espedair Street & Calside, Paisley
Espedair Street from Neilston Road to Rowan Street (both sides).
Calside from Neilston Road to Alice Street (both sides).
Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area.
Alternative Routes: N/A.
This notice will be in force from Monday 15th July 2024 until Friday 26th July 2024.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Neilston Road, Paisley
Neilston Road, Paisley between Calside and Alice Street.
Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency access will be maintained. Access to premises will be maintained where possible.
Alternative Routes: Calside, Alice Street and vice versa.
Access to Alexandra Gate and Stock Street (west) via Calside.
Access to South Campbell Street, Orr Street, Barterholm Road, Stock Street (east) and Rowan Street via Espedair Street.
This notice will be in force from Monday 15th July 2024 until Friday 26th July 2024.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
Abbotsinch Road, Paisley
Abbotsinch Road, Paisley between Sanderling Road and Arran Avenue
Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.
Vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Emergency access will be maintained. Access to premises will be maintained where possible.
Alternative Routes: Inchinnan Road, Springbank Road, Russell Street, Greenock Road, Barnsford Road, Greenock Road, Abbotsinch Road and vice versa.
This notice will be in force from Monday 1st July 2024 until Friday 12th July 2024.
This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016.
