Temporary Road Closures – Various Roads, Countywide 2024 (No.27)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order in accordance with the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14 because of works on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:

1. 1)Laundry Lane, Heckfield, Basingstoke between its junction with Odiham Road B3349 and its junction with Reading Road B3011
2. 2)Church Lane, Test Valley between its junction with Mottisfont Lane and its termination
3. 3)Budds Lane, Whitehill, East Hampshire between its junction with Havanah Way and its junction with Chietan Way
4. 4)Austen Road, Rushmoor between its junction with Car Park at western end and its junction with Number 41
5. 5)Southview Rise, Alton, East Hampshire between its junction with Gilbert White Way and its junction with Old Odiham Road
6. 6)Ball Hill Road, Basingstoke between its junction with Tile Barn Row and its junction with Enborne Street
7. 7)North Street, Pennington, New Forest between its junction with South Street and its junction with Milford Road
8. 8)Barton Court Road, New Milton, New Forest between its junction with A337 and its junction with Mount Avenue
9. 9)Copse Lane, Hook, Hart between its junction with Chaffers Close and its junction with Froyle Lane
10. 10)Salisbury Road, Test Valley between its junction with A303 Roundabout and its junction with Old Stockbridge Road
11. 11)Crow Lane, Ringwood, New Forest between its junction with Hightown Road and its junction with Chard Lane
12. 12)Bere Road (Spur), Winchester between its junction with Denmead Junior School and its junction with Light Column 4
13. 13)King Arthurs Way, Andover, Test Valley between its junction with Newbury Road and its junction with Knights Enham Roundabout
14. 14)M27 slip to Delme Roundabout, Fareham between its junction with M27 roundabout slip road and its junction with Delme Roundabout
15. 15)A27 Cams Hill, Fareham between its junction with Shearwater Avenue - westbound only and its junction with Delme Roundabout

- westbound A27 only

1. 16)Hackwood Lane, Basingstoke between its junction with Down Farm Lane and its junction with Village Road
2. 17)Delme Roundabout, Fareham will be closed under viaduct heading towards A27 east Cams Hill for the entirety of the road
3. 18)Delme Roundabout, Fareham will be closed from the northern gyratory: Wallington Way, Wallington Shore Road, M27 Slip
4. 19)A27 Eastern Way, Fareham between its junction with Eastern Way Slip Road and its junction with Delme Roundabout

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION – To impose a 30 mph temporary speed restriction on the following road:

A27 Botley Road, Romsey, Test Valley between its junction with A27 Luzborough Lane and its junction with Rownhams Lane

ONE-WAY SUSPENSION – To impose a one-way road on the following road:

A3057 Romsey Road, Romsey, Test Valley the one-way restriction between Coldharbour Lane and Lee Lane will be suspended for the duration of the works.

TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTION – To impose a temporary parking restriction on the following road:

Nelson Avenue/ Central Road, Fareham between its junction with a point approximately 18m north into Nelson Avenue from Central Road on the eastern side of the road (outside house no40) and its junction with a point approximately 17m east of Nelson Avenue into Central Road on both sides of the street (outside house no35)

DURATION OF ORDER: from 1st July 2024 for a period of 18 months. (This is the duration of the Order, not the works, which will vary according to technical requirements. Closure times and patterns will be indicated on site prior to and whilst the works are in progress.) Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
