(Footpath 57, Rawreth)
(Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 14 December 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(as amended)
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 57, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Rawreth Lane Industrial Estate and Rawreth Lane, for its entire length.
The alternative route will be via Rawreth Lane, Rawreth Lane Industrial Estate Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 14 June 2023 and is required for the safety of the public and workforce while improvements including resurfacing of footpath 57 is undertaken.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Arterial Road to its junction with Wyburns Avenue East a distance of approximately 580m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2362530 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
Alternative routes are available via:
Arterial Road, Progress Road, Rayleigh Road, Eastwood Road and Daws Heath Road or Daws Heath Road, Eastwood Road, High Street, High Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A129 To A127 Eastbound and Arterial Road.
The Order will come into effect on 20th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hatley Gardens, Benfleet)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hatley Gardens, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with West Green to its junction with High Road a distance of approximately 265m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365789 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Hatley Gardens, London Road, High Road and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 20th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Little Wakering Road, Barling Magna)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Wakering Road, Barling Magna in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 315m south of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M106801 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe repair works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Little Wakering Road, Barling Road, Silchester Corner, Southend Road, Little Wakering Road and vice versa (with access only into Little Wakering Road).
The Order will come into effect on 20th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
(No.16) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th June 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

The works are scheduled to commence after 20th June 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Ballards Walk, Markhams Chase, Great Knightleys and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Barleylands Road, Basildon/Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Wash Road for a distance of approximately 1140m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th June 2024 for 2 nights (20:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (BC311003WD4DMP4G/ BC311004WD4DMP4G - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Wash Road, Hardings Elms Road, Crays Hill, Southend Road, Barleylands Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 6th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
