What is happening?
HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:
(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF KINGS LANGLEY PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.016) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Kings Langley Public Footpath No.016 from its junction with Common Lane north eastwards to its junction with Coniston Road, a distance of approximately 276m (“the Public Footpath”).
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of Common Lane, the footway situated on the east side of Barnes Lane and the footway situated on the south and west sides of Coniston Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS FOOTPATHS AND FOOTWAY IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the following lengths of footpath (“the Footpaths”) and footway (“the Footway”):-
1.the footpath fronting Nos.12-21 Pinewood Gardens, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with
Pinewood Gardens north westwards, south westwards, north westwards and north eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2.the footpath fronting Nos.25 and 26 Pinewood Gardens, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Pinewood Gardens north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 27m. There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
3.the footpath fronting Nos.22-24 Pinewood Gardens, Hemel Hempstead from a point in line with the western boundary of No.25 Pinewood Gardens north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 24m.
There is no alternative route available for pedestrians when the works are being carried out. However pedestrian access to properties along this footpath will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
4.the footway situated on the north east side and south west side of Pinewood Gardens, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Lockers Park Lane north westwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 142m.
An alternative route will be via the footway on the west side of Lockers Park Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footpaths and Footway.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpaths and Footway.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ASTROPE LANE, LONG MARSTON/ASTROPE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Astrope Lane, Long Marston/Astrope from its junction with Tring Rural Public Footpath No.023 south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 420m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Astrope Lane, Tring Road, Wingrave Road, B489 Lower Icknield Way, Broad Highway and Astrope Lane.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN SHENLEY ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Shenley Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Epping Green south eastwards for a distance of approximately 75m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Shenley Road, B487 Redbourn Road and Shenley Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 8 July 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HOWARDS DRIVE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD AND LITTLE TRING ROAD, TRING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-
1. that length of Howards Drive, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Galley Hill north westwards for a distance of approximately 390m.
An alternative route will be via Galley Hill, Fennycroft Road and Howards Drive.
2. that length of Little Tring Road, Tring from its junction with Wiggles Lane north westwards to its junction with B489 Lower Icknield Way, a distance of approximately 410m.
An alternative route will be via Wiggles Lane, Tringford Road and B489 Lower Icknield Way.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PIX FARM LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pix Farm Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Pouchen End Lane north westwards to its junction with Westbrook Drive, a distance of approximately 345m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Winkwell, A4251 London Road, Sharpes Lane and Pix Farm Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
