(Temporary Prohibition of Use Extension) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under section S14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 30 September 2024.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close part of Footpath 61, Myland, in the City of Colchester.
From a point approximately 30.42 metres east of its junction with A134 Northern Approach,
in an easterly direction for approximately 74.53 metres.
Alternative route will be accommodated within Colchester Hospital Site.
The Order came into effect on 01 April 2022 and is required to allow for repair works to be carried out while the construction of an Elective Orthopaedic Centre takes place. This
Order may be further extended by the Secretary of State.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of All Saints Avenue, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Plume Avenue to its junction with Prettygate Road a distance of approximately 365m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2356375 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway investigation and repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Plume Avenue, Shrub End Road, King Harold Road, Prettygate Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 20th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coach Road, Great Horkesley in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Nayland Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30074697440 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new electricity supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Collingwood Road, Colcheter in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 110m south east of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310760765 - Anglian Water). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Crown Street, Dedham in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Manningtree Road to its junction with East Lane a distance of approximately 725m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2355516 - Essex County Council). (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ipswich Road, Colchester in the City of Colchester, from its junction with Old Coach Road to its junction with Fenwick Drive a distance of approximately 30m (northbound only). The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th June 2024 for 2 nights (19:00 - 06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD03164054105 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sluice valve replacement works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via East Street, Harwich Road, Harwich Road Roundabout, St Andrews Avenue (with access only into Ipswich Road).

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Weeley Heath in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 105m south east of its junction with Rectory Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a south easterly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Copford in the City of Colchester, from a point approximately 570m south east of its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD01310761004 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
Order (No.13) 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the City of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road and those in the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 20th June 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the City of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
