What is happening?

Dorset Council

The Dorset Council Traffic Management Scheme,

Various Roads, Upton

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset proposes to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

Order one will be to introduce the following restrictions:

• Formalising and amending the existing lengths of no waiting at any time restrictions at A350 Poole Road, Upton.

Order two will be to introduce the following:

• Dorset Council in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council proposes to introduce new lengths of 30mph along sections of the A35, A350, B3067 and Longmeadow Lane at Upton.

The scheme detailed above will also include Dorset Council's intention to install a new parallel crossing along A350 Poole Road, Upton (near the entrance to Upton Country Park/Upton House) under Section 23 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984.

Comments on the proposals for or against, together with the reasons for which they are made should be sent through the website as detailed above or in writing to Traffic Regulation Order Team, Dorset Council, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 1XJ by no later than 5 July 2024.

All written representations received concerning Traffic Regulation Orders are public documents that may be inspected by any person on demand.
