CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7906 Liverpool Road in Chester
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Chester to enable utility works to be carried out by Scottish Power Energy Networks to connect vital services to the Countess of Chester Hospital. Liverpool Road from the junction of Brook Lane Roundabout in a Northbound direction only to the junction with Bache Roundabout. Access will be maintained for business and residents.
Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 17th June 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately twelve days to complete.
Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via: Southbound only from junction of Brook Lane Roundabout and A5116 Liverpool Road onto A5116 Upper Northgate Street, Fountains Roundabout onto A5116 Upper Northgate Street, A540 Parkgate Road, Blacon Avenue Roundabout, A5480 Countess Way and A5116 Bache Roundabout.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Chester to connect vital services to Countess of Chester Hospital works to be carried out by Scottish Power Renewable Energy. Grange Road/Eversley Park - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 1st July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 6 weeks to complete. Alternative routes for through traffic Traffic should proceed via Liverpool Road, Brook Lane
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7914 Grange Lane in Malpas
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Malpas to enable utility works to be carried out by Openreach. Grange Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 1st July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 12 days to complete. Alternative routes for through traffic Traffic should proceed via Grange Lane, Wet Lane, Scar Lane.
