The County of Cornwall (A39 Between Arch Hill and Treluswell Roundabout, Perranarworthal) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th June 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Perranarworthal. This prohibition is necessary for gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th June 2024 to 28th June 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Roads affected - the A39 Between Arch Hill and Treluswell Roundabout, Perranarworthal for its entire length.

The County of Cornwall (B3294 Between St Keverne Beacon And Bounder Treath, Coverack) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th June 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Coverack. 

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th June 2024 to 26th June 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - B3294 Between St Keverne Beacon And Bounder Treath, Coverack between the junctions of Cow Y Jack and Park Halligey.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 7th March 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Junction North Of Barn Farm To Tregony, Tregony between the junction of Access To Porters and the property named Little Cornelly.

The Order which commenced on the 8th March 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 26th July 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out surfacing works.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

This prohibition is necessary for sewer works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th July 2024 to 10th July 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.

Road affected - Calenick Street, Truro between the junctions of The Moorfield and Victoria Square.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th June 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Wendron. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th June 2024 to 11th August 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - Carnkie, Wendron between grid reference SW71800 34707 and the junction of Rame Common and Road From Penmarth To Carnkie, Carnmenellis between the junction of Penmarth and grid reference SW71800 34707.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 14th March 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Cathebedron Road, Carnhell Green and Howe Downs, Carnhell Green for their entire lengths.

The Order which commenced on the 15th March 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 28th June 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during emergency works as road is impassable due to flooding after heavy rainfall.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
