Talbot Street - Temporary Road Closure for Swalec Stadium Cricket Events

GORCHYMYN CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD (DIGWYDDIADAU CRICED STADIWM SWALEC, CAERDYDD) (CAU FFYRDD DROS DRO) 2024

Ar 10 Mehefin 2024, mae Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan adrannau 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygwyd), a drwy’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, wedi gwneud Gorchymyn fydd yn atal unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio neu fynd ar hyd:

I. Clos Sophia

II. Talbot Street o’r gyffordd â Heol y Gadeirlan i’r gyffordd â Ryder Street (Cynhelir mynediad i breswylwyr)

III. Fields Park Road (cynhelir mynediad i eiddo arni neu y gellir mynd atynt trwyddi’n unig)

IV. Fairleigh Road (cynhelir mynediad i eiddo arni neu y gellir mynd atynt trwyddi’n unig).

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn dileu Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Heol y Gadeirlan, Caerdydd) (Lôn Fysus) 2016.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn dileu ‘Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Lleoedd Parcio Oddi ar y Stryd) (Cydgrynhoi) 2021’ i’r graddau y mae’n ymwneud â Maes Parcio a Ffordd Mynediad Gerddi Sophia.

Mae’r Gorchymyn hwn yn ofynnol i atal y tebygolrwydd o berygl i’r cyhoedd a disgwylir iddo fod yn weithredol ar y dyddiadau a’r amseroedd a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod.

Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu hysbysiadau a gaiff eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiad dan sylw ar waith. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau ar waith am hyd at 18 mis.

Enw’r Gorchymyn yw “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Digwyddiadau Criced Stadiwm SWALEC, Caerdydd) (Cau Ffyrdd Dros Dro) 2024”

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (SWALEC STADIUM CRICKET EVENTS, CARDIFF) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2024

On the 10th June 2024, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the general effect of which is to prevent any vehicle from using or proceeding along:

I. Sophia Close
II. Talbot Street from its junction with Cathedral Road to its junction with Ryder Street (access will be maintained for residents)
III. Fields Park Road (access will be maintained to properties on or only accessible therefrom)
IV. Fairleigh Road (access will be maintained to properties on or only accessible therefrom)

This Order hereby suspends ‘The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Cathedral Road, Cardiff) (Bus Lane) Order 2016’.

This Order herby suspends ‘The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Off Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2021’ insofar as it relates to Sophia Gardens Car Park and Access Road.

The Order is necessary to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public and is expected to be in operation on the dates and during the times specified in the below Schedule.

The restriction specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices. The Order will remain in force for a maximum of 18 months.

The Order is known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (SWALEC Stadium Cricket Events, Cardiff) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2024”.
