What is happening?

GORCHYMYN CYNGOR SIR DINAS A SIR CAERDYDD (TRIATHLON CAERDYDD 2024) (CAU FFYRDD DROS DRO) 2024

Ar 7 Mehefin 2024, gwnaeth Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd, wrth arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 16A Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), ac o’r holl bwerau galluogi eraill, Orchymyn a fydd yn para hyd at 3 diwrnod. Effaith gyffredinol y Gorchymyn fydd gwahardd cerbydau dros dro rhag defnyddio neu deithio ar hyd y darnau o ffyrdd ar y dyddiad a’r amserau a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn hwyluso’r digwyddiad canlynol (Triathlon Caerdydd) a daw i rym ddydd Sul 30 Mehefin 2024. Dim ond ar yr adegau ac i’r graddau a nodir ar arwyddion a/neu mewn hysbysiadau a gaiff eu harddangos y bydd y cyfyngiadau dan sylw ar waith.

Caiff mynediad i breswylwyr ei gynnal a’i reoli gan Swyddogion Rheoli Traffig Cyngor Caerdydd.

Enw’r Gorchymyn fydd “Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Dinas a Sir Caerdydd (Triathlon Caerdydd 2024) (Cau Ffyrdd Dros Dro) 2024”.

THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF CARDIFF (CARDIFF TRIATHLON 2024) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES) ORDER 2024

On the 7th June 2024, The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff in exercise of its powers under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and of all other enabling powers made an Order the maximum duration of which is 3 days. The general effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from using or proceeding along the lengths of road on the date and during the times specified in the below Schedule.

The Order is necessary to facilitate the following event to take place (Cardiff Triathlon) and shall come into operation on Sunday 30th June 2024. The restrictions specified will only have the effect at such times and to such extent as indicated by the display of signs and/or notices.

Access will be maintained for residents and managed by Cardiff Council Traffic Management Officers.

The Order is known as “The County Council of the City and County of Cardiff (Cardiff Triathlon 2024) (Temporary Road Closures) Order 2024”.

SCHEDULE
Between the hours of 4:45am and 11:30am on Sunday 30th June 2024

• Ferry Road from its junction with Clive Street to its junction with International Drive

• Dunleavy Drive from its junction with Watkiss Way to its junction with the Dunleavy Drive Retail Park

• International Drive, Olympian Drive and Watkiss Way throughout their lengths

Between the hours of 4:45am and 3:00pm on Sunday 30th June 2024

• Harbour Drive from its junction with Britannia Quay to its junction with Heol Porth Teigr

Between the hours of 5:15am and 3:00pm on Sunday 30th June 2024

• Ferry Road from its junction with Clive Street to its junction with Avondale Road

• East Tyndall Street from its junction with Schooner Way to its junction with Herbert Street

• Corporation Road from its junction with Taff Terrace to its junction with Avondale Road

• Clive Street from its junction with Penarth Road to its junction with Ferry Road

Lloyd George Avenue, Bute Place, James Street, Clarence Road and Avondale Road throughout their lengths
