What is happening?

Temporary 20 MPH Speed Restriction, Raw Bank - Arkle Town, Arkengarthdale, Order 2024 No. 196
We Intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 20 mph along that part of the road which extends from a point approximately 100 metres north of its junction with the side road to the east in Arkle Town southwards (via the temporary bypass route to the west of the road) to a point approximately 200 metres south of its junction with the side road to the east in Arkle Town (measured along the original road) for a temporary period between 01 /08/24 & 01 /03/25, due to Highway Maintenance works. However, the max duration of this Order is from 01/07/24 until 30/11/25. During such time as the Temporary Speed Limit is in place then the terms of the following Traffic Regulation Order will need to be suspended insofar as they relate to the section of road with the Temporary Speed Limit: 'North Yorkshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Langthwaite & Arkle Town, Arkengarthdale) Order 2004. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Raw Bank - Arkle Town, Arkengarthdale, Order 2024, No. 197
We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using the section of road which extends from its junction with the side road to the east in Arkle Town southwards for an approximate distance of 175 metres (over 'Foregill Bridge') for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 01/08/24 & 01/03/25, due to Highway Maintenance works. However, the max duration of this Order is from 01 /07/24 until 30/11/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Harker Hill, Gayle for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 01 /07/24 & 09/07/24, due to Northern Powergrid works to provide a new electric connection.
