Spring Mill Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Construction Works
What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL SPRING MILL STREET, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of construction works to be executed on or near Spring Mill Street, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Spring Mill Street from a point outside No.53 Spring Mill Street to adjacent No.41 Spring Mill Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Spring Mill Street (unaffected section), Ripley Street, Bowling Old Lane, Gaythorne Road, Round Street and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 08:30 hours on the 17th June 2024 and remains in force until 17:00 hours on the 30th August 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
