Lifford Lane - Prohibition of Through Traffic to Facilitate Gas Works in Safety
What is happening?
BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2) (LIFFORD LANE, KINGS NORTON NORTH) (17020063) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed along Lifford Lane between its junction with Pershore Road and its junction with Frances Road.
The temporary Order is required to facilitate Gas Works in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 17th June 2024 and will remain in force for a period of 4 weeks or until the works is completed whichever is the earlier.
