(Various Roads, Ashley Down Road Area, Ashley, Bishopston & Ashley Down, Horfield And Lockleaze Wards, City Of Bristol) (Prohibition Of Waiting And Stopping And Restriction Of Waiting) (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (Loading Places) (Car Club Parking Places) Order 2024
The City Council of Bristol hereby gives Notice that on 6th June 2024 it made a traffic order, the effect of which is:-
1. to introduce a disabled persons’ parking place in Station Road, south side;
2. to introduce a loading place in Station Road, south side; and
3. to revise prohibition of waiting arrangements for vehicles in Lilstock Avenue and Station Road.
All other existing provisions previously regulated by the City Council of Bristol (Various Roads, Ashley Down Road Area, Ashley, Bishopston & Ashley Down, Horfield and Lockleaze Wards, City of Bristol) (Prohibition of Waiting and Stopping and Restriction of Waiting) (Disabled Persons’ Parking Places) (Loading Places) (Car Club Parking Places) Order 2022 were brought forward into the new order unchanged.
The order will come into operation on 24th June 2024 and a copy therof, together with plans, a copy of the order being revoked and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order, may be inspected at the Citizen Service Point, 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG, between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
