Various Temporary Road Closures Forest of Dean District
What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF C19 LAMBSQUAY ROAD (NEWLAND PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C19 Lambsquay Road from Clearwell Caves to its junction with The Rocks for a distance of approximately 125 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus installation works.
The said road is expected to be closed from the 18th June 2024 until the 20th June 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – 40171 COPPICE ROAD (LYDBROOK PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 40171 Coppice Road from its junction with Vention Lane to its junction with Rocks Road for a distance of approximately 580 metres.
The reason for the closure is for road maintenance works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C31 MILL END (MITCHELDEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C31 Mill End, from its junction with Star Pitch to outside the property known as ‘No. 2’ Mill End Street’ for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for National Grid cable works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 40188 GEORGE ROAD (WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 40108 George Road from outside the property known as ‘Bream View’ to outside the property known as ‘Pinecrest’ for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water
