NOTICE OF CONFIRMING OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY

PUBLIC FOOTPATH 655 HAWSKER-CUM-STAINSACRE

(ENTERPRISE WAY, WHITBY BUSINESS PARK, WHITBY) DIVERSION ORDER 2024

On 15 May 2024 the North York Moors National Park Authority confirmed the above Order under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the Public Footpath through the Business Park to pass ponds, wildlife areas and benches, as shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Whitby Library, Windsor Terrace, Whitby, North Yorkshire until 25 July 2024. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting Legal Services, North Yorkshire Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG. The Order comes into force on the date on which the North York Moors National Park Authority certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may within six weeks from 13 June 2024 apply to the High Court under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
