(SCOUT HILL ROAD/BROAD
STREET, SCOUT HILL, DEWSBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Scout Hill, Dewsbury:-
Road Closure
Scout Hill Road/Broad Street - from its junction with Craven Road to a point outside property no. 2 Scout Hill Road
Point Closure
Stoney Bank Street - at its junction with Scout Hill Road
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Scout Hill Road, Ravenswharf Road, Huddersfield Road, Broad Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 1st July 2024 between 19:00 - 23:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CLIFFE STREET, STAINCLIFFE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Cliffe Street, Staincliffe from a point outside property no. 30 to its junction with Common Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the
unaffected length of Cliffe Street, Bunkers Lane, Common Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024 and remain in force until 3rd July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SOUTHGATE, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Southgate, Dewsbury from its junction with
Old Westgate to its junction with Access to rear of 101 Daisy Hill PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of
road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Old
Westgate, Daisy Hill, Church Street, South Street.
To facilitate access the existing “One Way Order” restrictions on Southgate which relate to this closure only will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the closure (i.e. traffic will be wo way from Access rear
of 101 Daisy Hill to junction with South Street).
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 1st July 2024 and remain in force until 9th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(CHILD LANE, ROBERTTOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to proceed in that length of Child Lane, Roberttown from its junction with Leeds Road to its junction with Fountain Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to
vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via
Huddersfield Road, Lumb Lane, Child Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024 between 19:00 - 23:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WHITE LEE ROAD, WHITE LEE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of White Lee Road, White Lee from its junction with Jail Road to its junction with Oliver Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out
on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via West Park Road, Healey Lane, Mayman Lane, Stocks Lane, Bradford Road, Huddersfield Road, White Lee Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence at 21:00 hours on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024 and remain in force until 01:00 hours on 4th
July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WOODSOME ESTATE, STAINCLIFFE, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Woodsome Estate, Staincliffe from a point at the corner of property no. 16 to a point outside property no. 17 PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the
unaffected length of Woodsome Estate.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024 and remain in force until 3rd July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BRADFORD ROAD, LITTLETOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradford Road, Littletown from its junction with Upper Carr Street to a point outside property no. 166 PROVIDED THAT such
prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the
unaffected length of Bradford Road, Leeds Road, Gomersal Road, Oxford Road, Spen Lane, Spen Bank, St Peg Lane, Dewsbury Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence at 23:59 hours on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024 and remain in force until 04:00 hours on 4th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(WILSON WOOD STREET/TRINITY STREET, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Batley:-
Wilson Wood Street - from a point outside property no. 18 to its junction with
Hyrstlands Road Trinity Street - from a point outside property 33-34 Woodfield Court to a point outside property no. 43
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Trinity Street, Upper Road, Town Street, Hyrstlands Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 17th June 2024 and remain in force until 19th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MIRY LANE, HIGHTOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Miry Lane, Hightown, Liversedge from its junction with Halifax Road to its junction with Victoria Close
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only. It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 17th June 2024 between 08:00 - 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PRIMROSE LANE, HIGHTOWN, LIVERSEDGE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Primrose Lane from its junction with Halifax Road to its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bradford Road, Knowler Hill, Halifax Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 17th June 2024 and remain in force until 13th October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(HOWROYD LANE, WHITLEY, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Howroyd Lane, Whitley from its junction with Whitley Road to its junction with Stile End PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversion route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 19th June 2024 and remain in force until 20th June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(GOMERSAL LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gomersal Lane, Gomersal
from its junction with Spen Lane to a point at entrance road to Mount Pleasant Farm PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s)
of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the
unaffected length of Gomersal Lane, Lower Lane, Nibshaw Lane, Spen Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 17th June 2024 and remain in force until 5th July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(OUZELWELL LANE, THORNHILL LEES, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Ouzelwell Lane, Thornhill Lees from its junction with Ouzelwell Crescent to a point adjacent Public Footpath
DEW/6/60 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday, 19th June 2024 and remain in force until 21st June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH BAT/43/80, SOOTHILL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by
reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Public Footpath BAT/43/80, Soothill from its
junction with BAT/45/50 to its junction with BAT/43/70 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Public Footpath BAT/45/50, BAT/44/10, Mill Forest Way, BAT/43/60.
The closure which commenced on Monday, 27th May 2024 to follow on from the expiry of the Emergency Notice dated 1st May 2024 has been further extended to remain in force until 31st August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary).
