Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U44607 Elizabeth Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U44607 Elizabeth Road from its junction with U44600 Fairfield Road to its junction with U44605 Battleton Road.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U44600 Fairfield Road, U44605 Battleton Road, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days. Commencing: 19 June 2024.
(C2007 Hinton Road, Childswickham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2007 Hinton Road from its junction with C2259 Buckland Road to its junction with A46 Cheltenham Road.
Reason: Remedial works to carriageway by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A46 Cheltenham Road, C2268 from A46 Cheltenham Road to Aston Somerville, C2268 School Road, C2268 Broadway Road, Broadway Road (Gloucestershire), Buckland Road (Gloucestershire), C2259 Buckland Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 16 June 2024.
(B4035 Bretforton Road, Badsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4035 Bretforton Road from its junction with Maybush Gardens to its junction with B4085 Birmingham Road
Reason: New replacement water main by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4035 Bretforton Road, B4035 New Street, B4035 Weston Road into Gloucestershire, B4632 Leamington Road, A44 Broadway Bypass, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Broadway Road, A46 Evesham Bypass (National Highways), B4035 Badsey Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 8 July 2024.
(U46425 Pass Street/U46425 Hacketts Lane, Eckington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U46425 Pass Street from its junction with U46421 New Road to its junction with U46425 Hacketts Lane. Closure 2: U46425 Hacketts Lane from its junction with U46425 Pass Street to its junction with U46422 Upper End.
Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U46422 Upper End, U46421 New Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 8 July 2024 and 19 July 2024. (U44420 Greenhill Service Road, Evesham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U44420 Greenhill Service Road from its junction with A4184 Greenhill for the entire length.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route:
A4184 Greenhill and vice versa.Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 9 July 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Footpath BY-633, Broadway) (Temporary Closure) Order 2013
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 30 November 2023 the effect of which is to close Footpath BY-633, Broadway for its entire length which was due to expire on 12 June 2024 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 12 June 2025 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made due to construction associated with the upgrade of Sewage Treatment Works on land crossed by the footpath.
Alternative route: Footpath BY-543, Broadway, C2007 Childswickham Road, Footpath BY-544, Broadway, B4632 Cheltenham Road (Broadway) and vice versa.
