PUBLIC NOTICE 

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (GROVE LANE)

 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Grove Lane in both directions at its junction with Church Road. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on 20 June 2024 and 21 June 2024. The diversion route is: The Holloway, Bridgnorth Road, Torvale Road and vice versa or Church Road, Mount Road, Wightwick Bank, Bridgnorth Road, Torvale Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate sewer repairs within manhole chamber by Severn Trent Water.
