(STOPPING, WAITING AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2019

(MARLBOROUGH ROAD) (WELLESLEY ROAD) (U2643) (MAP-BASED ORDER

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) VARIATION NO. 39 ORDER 202-

Suffolk County Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1 (1) and (2), 2(1) to (3) 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, which would substitute revision 2 of Map Tile GK126 in place of revision 1 of the same Map Tile, into the above-named 2019 Order. The effect of this would be to introduce: 'No waiting at any time' on

Exemptions to the waiting restrictions allow a vehicle to wait for so long as is necessary to board or alight or to load and unload for building, industrial or demolition works; the provision of emergency services; for the maintenance of the road or its services and to fulfil statutory duties. Blue badge holders will be exempt from the restrictions.

Copies of the draft order, map showing the roads affected and the council's reasons for the proposals, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday; also at Ipswich County Library, Northgate Street, Ipswich IP1 3DE, 9am - 6pm Monday; 9am - 7pm, Tuesday; 9am - 6pm Wednesday to Thursday; 9am -7pm Friday; 8.30am - 5pm Saturday and 10am - 4pm on Sunday excluding bank holidays and bank holidays.

Objections and any other representations relating to these proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made, must reach Aishah Siddika, Suffolk County Council Legal Services, at the address below or at aishah.siddika@suffolk.gov.uk no later than 01/07/2024. Please note that any such correspondence cannot be regarded as confidential and may be inspected by any interested party.
