U4023 LOW ALWINTON TO MAKENDON CATTLE GRID ALWINTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U4023 Low Alwinton To Makendon Cattle Grid from outside Alwinton Farm Cottage heading in a westerly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 17th June 2024 until the 5th July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 17th June 2024 until the 28th June 2024 between 09:30 until 16:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th July 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to install a new water connection. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
