C144 BENRIDGE HAGG JUNCTION TO FAIRMOOR MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C144 Benridge Hagg Junction To Fairmoor Morpeth from its junction with U6027 heading north for a length of 640 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 8th July 2024 until the 8th January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th July 2024 until the 19th July 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 8th January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C144, C142, C141, C136, A697, A1, C144, A197 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for signage repair/replacement, civils, drainage and resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
