North Yorkshire Council, Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No 53, Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that on 07/06/24 The North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified below:- Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking With Exemptions Orchard Close (U1017/3/70), Knaresborough, Both sides, on the north eastern side of Orchard Close spur, the double yellow road markings start from the spur of Orchard Close in a south easterly direction for 3m rotating to a north easterly direction for 21m & on the eastern side of Orchard Close starting directly opposite the termination point on the western side for a length of 29m in a south westerly direction, terminating at the tangent of the junction. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 17/06/24, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Knaresborough Library, Town Centre, 40 Market Place, Knaresborough, HG5 8AG during normal office hours from 13/06/24 to 19/07/24 & also viewed online at

If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 07/06/24 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Regent Parade & Park Parade, Harrogate, Order 2024, No. 201 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Regent Parade & Park Parade, Harrogate for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 30/06/24 & 28/07/24, due to Footway Slurry Sealing. However, the max duration of this Order is until 30/12/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse Traffic, Public Bridleway 15.55/73/1 Hartwith Cum Winsley, Order 2024 No. 205 We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or person riding or leading a horse from using the Public Bridleway 15.55/73/1 in the Parish of Hartwith cum Winsley between grid reference SE19666284 & SE19756276 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 19/06/24 & 28/11/24, due to path collapse. This Order follows a closure under Emergency Notice No 212. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians, Cyclists & Horse Traffic, Public Bridleway 15.54/161/1 Harrogate, Order 2024 No. 206 We intend to make this Order to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or person riding or leading a horse from using the Public Bridleway 15.54/161/1 in the Parish of Harrogate, between grid reference SE29425617 & SE29395619 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 01/07/24 & 31/12/24, due to installation works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate.
