What is happening?

CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of Church Street at Armthorpe in the City of Doncaster District
as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and
times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst carriageway repair works are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Church Street, Doncaster Road,
Armthorpe Road, Leger Way Armthorpe Road Roundabout,
Leger Way, Sandall Park Roundabout, Thorne Road A18,
Shaw Lane Roundabout, Thorne Road, West Moor Link
Thorne Road Roundabout, West Moor Link, West Moor Link
Hatfield Lane Roundabout, Hatfield Lane, Mill Street, Nutwell
Lane Roundabout and vice versa. Those residents and
businesses directly affected by the works will be notified of
the scheme and access arrangements

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of Field Road at Thorne in the City of Doncaster District and
suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Mount Pleasant
Road as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates
and times referred to in the said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to install a new water are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Paddock Lane, Mount Pleasant
Rd, North Common Rd, Marshland Rd, Coulman St, Church
Balk, Haynes Rd, Miller Lane, Ellison St, Silver St, King St and
vice versa.

3) Temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonnes weight restriction on
Lakeside Boulevard from its junction with Carolina Way to its
junction with Winscar Road that forms part of the
diversion route.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Sections 14(1)(b), 22C, 22D and 92 of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all
other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief
Officer of South Yorkshire Police because of the likelihood of
danger to the public and the effect will be to:-
1 Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those lengths of
road in the City of Doncaster District as described in part 1 of
the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to
therein,
2. Prohibit any person allowing a vehicle to park, wait or load
on those lengths of road described in part 2 of the Schedule
to this notice on the dates and times referred to therein.
Any contravention of this prohibition will result in a Penalty
Charge Notice being issued and the subsequent removal of
the vehicle.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public whilst
an Armed Forces Day Parade takes place.

affected by the Order is by signed diversion.
