What is happening?

C16 OLD DRYBURN JUNCTION
TO HOLY ISLAND CAUSEWAY BEAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.2. 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C16 Old Dryburn Junction To Holy Island Causeway Beal, for a distance of 20 metres either side of the level crossing in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 3rd July 2024 until the 4th July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 3rd July 2024 until the 4th July 2024 between the hours of 23:00 until 05:55 during this period.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Chevron TM to lift crossing for tamper to work through the area In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
