Lodge Lane - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic
What is happening?

(LODGE LANE, SINGLETON, FYLDE BOROUGH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this Order.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle or cycle to proceed over that length of Lodge Lane, Singleton from Garstang Road at the Five Lane Ends junction to the junction with Barnfield Manor.
2. Nothing in this Order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative nightly from 2030 hours to 0500 hours on Monday 24th June 2024 to Saturday 29th June 2024 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
5. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:
Mains Lane – Garstang New Road – Mile Road – The Village
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow lighting column upgrade works, footpath resurfacing and landscaping to be carried out by National Highways.
