ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
White Oak Way, St Marys Grove, Hannah More Road, Nailsea, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024 Date coming into force: 25 July 2024 -Ref: SW24.25-105
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wales & West Utilities to replace gas main. This will become operative on the 25 July 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the phased closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of approximately 17 weeks in duration, combined with temporary traffic lights. The commencement dates of the phased closures are approximate and subject to the progression of the works. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when each of the measures are in force. Closure Schedule - Phase 1 commencing 25 July 2024 White Oak Way from junction of St Marys Grove to outside property number 10, Phase 2 St Marys Grove from junction of Engine Lane to White Oak Way, Phase 3 Hannah More Road from St Marys Grove to adjacent to property number 43 Blakeney Grove.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
Spring Lane, Dundry, North Somerset Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles, and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This will become operative on the 1 July 2024 for a maximum period of 18 months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 12 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Notice of Making Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places (Consolidation) Order 2022 (Variation No.12) Order 2024 - Ref: 2407/DB/2024
Notice is hereby given that on the 6 June 2024, North Somerset Council made the following order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order shall be to install parking restrictions in Portishead, Clevedon and Weston-Super-Mare. The extents of the proposals are described in the Schedule 1 to this Notice. To vary the on-street parking charges within Weston-Super-Mare and Leigh Woods, the extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule 2 to this Notice. Also, an amendment to the description for ambulance within Part 2 Preliminary of the 2022 Order. The order comes into operation on the 14 June 2024 and copies of this together with plans and a copy of the council's statement of reason for making the order may be inspected at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/notices Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any of the relevant
requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
