Bracknell, Temporary Footway Closure Due To Water Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTWAY BETWEEN FARLEY COPSE AND WOKINGHAM ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any persons proceeding, in any direction, along the footway between:
a) Farley Copse and Wokingham Road, Bracknell.
The alternative route for persons affected by section (a) of this Order will be via Wokingham Road, Farley Copse and this route reversed. The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while South East Water upgrade their network in the footway. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 01st July 2024, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place from 01st July 2024 until 05th July 2024. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
