(Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 300m north east then south east of its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 300m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30072707287 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Ongar Road and vice versa (with access only into Ashwells Road and Crow Green Road).
The Order will come into effect on 19th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Little Warley Hall Lane, Little Warley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Warley Hall Lane, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 560m north west of its junction with Southend Arterial Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013305888 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Southend Arterial Road, Childerditch Lane, Magpie Lane, Bird Lane, Warley Street, Southend Arterial Road and vice versa (with access only into Little Warley Hall Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 19th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mores Lane, South Weald) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mores Lane, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 130m south west of its junction with Pilgrims Lane for a distance of approximately 100m in a south westerly then south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th July 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30056506634 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while tree cutting works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Ongar Road, Coxtie Green Road and vice versa (with access only into Mores Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 19th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.6) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 19th June 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.

North Road, Brentwood From its junction with Western Avenue to its junction with Ongar Road a distance of approximately 220m. Western Avenue, Ongar Road and vice versa.
Highland Avenue, Brentwood From its junction with Ongar Road to its junction with Sawyers Hall Lane a distance of approximately 240m. Ongar Road, Shenfield Road, Sawyers Hall Lane and vice versa.
(Coxtie Green Road, Pilgrims Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Coxtie Green Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 50m west of its junction with Mores Lane for a distance of approximately 30m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th June 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7031001340247 – Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Ongar Road, Crown Road, Navestock Side, Green Lane, Navestock Side Green, Princes Road, Tan House Lane, Horseman Side, Goatswood Lane, Church Road, Chequers Road and vice versa (with access only into Coxtie Green Road).
The Order came into effect on 5th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Horseman Side, Navestock) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Horseman Side, Navestock in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 190m south west of its junction with Goatswood Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th June 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410232097 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while stoptap fitting works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Horseman Side, Goatswood Lane, Church Road, Noak Hill Road, Broxhill Road, North Road, Oak Hill Road, Tysea Hill and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 5th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Tilbury Road, West Horndon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Tilbury Road, West Horndon in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 490m north west of its junction with Brentwood Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a northerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th June 2024 for 1 night (22:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701FSS2-19-71-260624 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while structure examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Tilbury Road, Halfway House Roundabout, A127, A176, A13, Orsett Cock Roundabout, Brentwood Road, Bulphan Bypass and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 5th June 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
