NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, C441 PLANTATION ROAD AND NEW ACCESS ROAD) TRAFFIC ORDERS NOTICE 2024

The Norfolk County Council has made the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on 4th June 2024 to come into operation on 10th June 2024, the effects of which are as follows:

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, C441 PLANTATION ROAD) (20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) AMENDMENT ORDER 2024 AND THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, C441 PLANTATION ROAD) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) AMENDMENT ORDER 2024

To amend The Norfolk County Council (Blofield, Hemblington and Pedham, Various Roads) (30 m.p.h. Speed Limit) Consolidation Order 2015 by shortening the restriction along the length of C441 Plantation Road by 64m and converting it to a 20mph restriction, extending the length of C441 Plantation Road referred to in The Norfolk County Council (Blofield, Various Roads) (20 m.p.h Speed Limit) Order 2015 by 64m.

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, C441 PLANTATION ROAD) (20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) AMENDMENT ORDER 2024 AND THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, C441 PLANTATION ROAD) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) AMENDMENT ORDER 2024

THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (BLOFIELD, C441 PLANTATION ROAD AND NEW ACCESS ROAD) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024

To prohibit waiting at any time along the following lengths of road:-

(i) C441 Plantation Road (East side) - From a point 15m north of the centreline of its junction with the new access road southwards for a distance of 30m;

(ii) New Access Road (North side) - From its junction with Plantation Road eastwards for 90m;

(iii) New Access Road (South side) - From its junction with Plantation Road eastwards for 30m;

(iv) New Access Road (South side) - From a point 76m east of its junction with Plantation Road eastwards for 12m.

Copies of the Orders and a plan may be viewed online at https://norfolk.citizenspace.com/. Copies may also be available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Norwich and at the offices of Broadland District Council, Horizon Business Centre, Peachman Way, Norwich during normal office hours. However, staffing levels in the office have been reduced and viewing online would be recommended.

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 4th June 2024 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
