SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6433 CHARE ROAD, STANTON

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the U6433 Chare Road, Stanton from 40 metres west of the junction with Dale Road for 80 metres westbound to facilitate the installation of new cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1111, the A143, Bardwell Road and vice versa.

It Is Intended that the closure will operate from 17/06/2024 - 21/06/2024 but, If necessary, the order may remain In force for 18 months (or longer If extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4620 ALLENBY ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council Intends to make an order closing the U4620 Allenby Road, Ipswich from Hadleigh Road to number 41 Allenby Road to facilitate a linkbox replacement. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Hadleigh Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/06/2024 - 21/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4123 Spenser Road, Ipswich to facilitate patching works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Shakespeare Road, Byron Road, Goldsmith Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/0672024 - 20/06/2024 from 9am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3600 Park Road, Ipswich to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Henley Road, the A1214 Valley Road, Westerfield Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/06/2024 - 19/06/2024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8000 RUSHBROOKE LANE AND U7546 RIVER LANE, BURY ST EDMUNDS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the

  • U8000 Rusnbrooke Lane, Bury St Edmunds from River Lane for 740 metres southbound.

  • U7546 River Lane, Bury St Edmunds from Rushbrooke Lane to The Firs.

This is to facilitate the reconstruction of Rushbrooke Lane and the installation of new drainage. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Rougham Hill, the A134, North Hill and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/06/2024 - 20/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C968 BRIDGE STREET, BUNGAY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C968 Bridge Street, Bungay from 1 metre north of the junction with Trinity Street for 125 metres northbound to facilitate a gas connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion routes will be:

1. (Northbound) the A143, the A144 Broad Street and no vice versa

2. (Southbound) the A144 Earsham Street, the A143 and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/06/2024 - 21/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the Fox Hill, Mendham Lane, Sandy Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 17/06/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8801 Meadow View Road, Sudbury and the U8801 Lark Rise, Sudbury to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Middleton Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 17/06/2024 - 21/0672024 from 9am - 4.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
