Hortensia Road - Temporary Road Closures For Utility Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES HORTENSIA ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS
Hortensia Road is to be closed from the junction of Fulham Road, to the flank of 1 to 8 Hortensia House.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Thursday 13th June 2024 until 18.00hrs on Friday 28th June 2024, with backup dates of Monday 17th June 2024 until Friday 5th July 2024, or until such time as these works are completed.
Diverted through traffic to use Hortensia Road, King’s Road, Gunter Grove, Fulham Road, Hortensia Road. or Hortensia Road, Fulham Road, Edith Grove, King’s Road, Hortensia Road.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
