What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDERS 2024 RUNNYMEDE LANE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Runnymede Lane, from Runnymede Way Roundabout to Shinewater Park junction, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the surface dressing of existing surface overlay works, and the replacement of road markings.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 10th July 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9.30am to 3.30pm on 10th July 2024.

SWANN STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Swann Street from Lincoln Street to Bromley Street, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during maintenance works on telecoms mast.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 12th July 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 10am to 3.30pm on 12th July 2024.

MIDDLESEX ROAD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along:-
the full length of Middlesex Road, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway and footway refurbishment works.
The alternative route for vehicles and pedestrians will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 15th July 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 5 months, with an expected completion date of 15th December 2024.

FLINTON STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Flinton Street, outside Ocean House, approximately 135 metres from Witty Street, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the use of a mobile crane, lifting equipment to Ocean House, Flinton Street.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
The Order will take effect on 20th July 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am to 6pm on 20th July 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Wingfield Road, opposite number 181, between The Coltswolds and The Chilterlands Bus Stop, approximately 22m, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of a new telecoms pole and cable.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the day.
The Order will take effect on 22nd July 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9.30am to 3.30pm on 22nd July 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Anlaby Park Road South, at the junction of Hessle Road for approximately 37 metres, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during gas mains replacement works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will take effect on 29th July 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am to 5pm from 29th July 2024 to 9th August 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along County Road North, from outside the Pavillion to the side of the National Public House; and Langdale Avenue, outside number 2 to the junction of County Road North, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the installation of new gas pipes.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 6th July 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 27 working days.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the surface dressing of existing surface overlay works, and the replacement of road markings.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 1st July 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed overnight, from 7pm on 1st July 2024 to 6am on 2nd July 2024.

The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the surface dressing of existing overlay works, and the replacement of road markings.

The Order will come into effect 3rd July 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 7pm and midnight on 3rd July 2024.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Spring Bank West, at Walton Street Level Railway Crossing, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during rerailing through level crossing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 29th June 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 11pm on 29th June 2024 to 8.30am on 30th June 2024.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Gillshill Road, from the junction of Sutton Road to the junction of Tween Dykes Road, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 1st July 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 12 days.

MARTON GROVE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Marton Grove, between Inglemire Lane and The Quadrant, Kingston upon Hull.
A Two Way System will be operational on Marton Grove for residents and required access only.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway repair works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 24th June 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 9.30am to 3.30pm on 24th June 2024 and 25th June 2024.

TOWN POLICE CLAUSES ACT 1847
ORDER FOR THE PREVENTION OF OBSTRUCTION IN STREETS ARMED FORCES DAY EVENT, KINGSTON UPON HULL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 10th June 2024, the Kingston upon Hull City Council made an Order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 for the purpose of preventing obstructions in the length of street in the City of Kingston upon Hull hereinafter mentioned on the occasion of an Armed Forces Day Event, on 29th June 2024. The Order:-
(a) prohibits any person (except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform) from driving, riding or propelling any vehicle or causing or permitting any vehicle to wait in or on that length of Paragon Street from Chariot Street to Queen Victoria Square.
The following are pedestrianised areas how
ever these need to be secured with concrete blocks which will be hired in to stop any access to vehicles during the event. King Edward Street from King Edward Square to Queen Victoria Square, whole of Queen Victoria Square, Kingston upon Hull, between 7am to 6pm on the 29th June 2024.
(b) requires any person directed or permitted by a police constable in uniform to drive, ride or propel a vehicle or to cause or permit a vehicle to wait on or in the said length of street during the said hours on the said day to obey the directions of the said police constable and of any other police constable in uniform, and
(c) requires all persons present in the said length of street during the said hours on the said day to comply with the directions of any police constable in uniform.
The purpose of these closures is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during an Armed Forces Day Event.
The Order does not apply to fire brigade vehicles, ambulance and police vehicles.
The penalty for an infringement of the Order is a fine upon conviction not exceeding Four hundred pounds.

PRESTON ROAD/RYEHILL GROVE/ST JOHNS GROVE AREA (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND LOADING PLACES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council on the 3rd June 2024 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 10th June 2024.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time restrictions at various locations in the Ryehill Grove/Exeter Grove area, at junctions and on narrow roads where parking would obstruct access. New double yellow lines are also proposed on both sides of St John’s Grove to the east of Trinity Grove to improve access to and from the unadopted road opposite property number 13 St John’s Grove.
It is also proposed to introduce a loading bay on the north side of Preston Road, in the layby to the west of Ryehill Grove, to facilitate deliveries to the nearby shop.

MITCHAM ROAD/BELLFIELD AVENUE (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council on the 3rd June 2024 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on the 10th June 2024.
The effect of the Order is to install new double yellow lines at the junction of Mitcham Road and Bellfield Avenue. The new yellow lines are proposed on both sides of Mitcham Road for a distance of 39 metres from the junction, and on the north side of Bellfield Avenue for a distance of 15 metres either side of the junction.
The purpose of the Order is considered necessary to facilitate traffic flow and ensure access to the new Limetree Court development.
