NOTICE OF PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine
Hertfordshire County Council
(Hoddesdon 73 and Brickendon Liberty 30) Modification Order 2018 and will attend at:
Mayhem Function Hall, Unit 1 Brewery Yard, Brewery Road, Hoddesdon, EN11 8HF 
on 16 July 2024 at 10.00am To hold a public local inquiry into the Order
to Add to them a public Bridleway commencing from a junction with Hoddesdon Restricted Byways 21 and 23 and Footpath 22 at TL 3547 0854, running south west along the track through woodland for 760 metres to the parish boundary, joining Brickendon Liberty Restricted Byway 24 and Bridleway 30 at TL 34730837. Continues south west following the track through the woodland for 850 metres to a junction with Brickendon Liberty Bridleway 14 at TL 3390 0818, then continuing south west along the track for 950 metres to a junction with Brickendon Liberty Footpath 13 at TL 3312 0763 and south west along the track for 905 metres to the southern corner of the Broxbourne Wood car park and a junction with Pembridge Lane at TL 3242 0706.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE STREET, BRAUGHING) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Street, Braughing from a point in line with the eastern boundary of No.4 ‘Old School Place’ north westwards for a distance of approximately 58m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via The Street, Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End, The Causeway, The Street, Worsted Lane, B1368 (unnamed road/Dassels Hill/Dassels/ Hay Street/Green End), Ford Street and The Street.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN WARE, WADESMILL AND WATTON AT STONE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-
1. that length of Marsh Lane, Ware from its junction with A1170 Viaduct Road north eastwards and south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Anchor Lane, Wadesmill from its junction with Cambridge Road south westwards to its junction with the A602 Tonwell Bypass/A602 Westmill Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 2461m.
An alternative route will be via Cambridge Road, A1170 Wadesmill Road, A10 (unnamed road) and A602 Westmill Road or via A602 Westmill Road, A10 (unnamed road/Wadesmill Bypass) and Cambridge Road.
3. that length of Church Lane/Perrywood Lane, Watton at Stone from its junction with Watton Road south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with High Street, a distance of approximately 1000m.
An alternative route will be via Watton Road, Station Road and High Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN EVERGREEN ROAD AND PRINCES STREET, WARE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of Evergreen Road, Ware from its junction with Linwood Road north westwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
2. that length of Princes Street, Ware from its junction with Crib Street south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BROMLEY LANE, LITTLE HADHAM) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bromley Lane, Little Hadham from its junction with 3U40 (unnamed road) south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WEST END ROAD, WORMLEY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of West End Road, Wormley from its junction with Church Lane north westwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 600m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Church Lane, White Stubbs Lane and West End Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. 
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF TOWN LANE, BENINGTON) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Town Lane, Benington from its junction with Church Green south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Whempstead Road, a distance of approximately 1052m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Church Green, Walkern Road, High Street, Ware Road, A602 (Ware Road/Tonwell Bypass), Sacombe Pound, Munden Road, Whempstead Lane and Whempstead Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE ROAD FRONTING NOS.70-82 CHURCHGATE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the road fronting Nos.70-82 Churchgate, Cheshunt from its junction with Churchgate north eastwards for a distance of approximately 74m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible 
throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because the renewal of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed 
near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 13 June 2024 for a period of up to 
18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by 
signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN NORTHWOOD CLOSE, CHESHUNT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Northwood Close, Cheshunt from its junction with Allwood Road north eastwards and north westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MANGROVE LANE, BRICKENDON/MANGROVE ROAD, HERTFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Mangrove Lane, Brickendon/Mangrove Road, Hertford from a point 214m south east of its junction with Oak Grove north westwards to its junction with Hagsdell Lane, a distance of approximately 718m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Mangrove Lane, Goose Green Lord Street, Lord Street, Taverners Way, Pauls Lane, Amwell Street, A1170 Amwell Street, B1197 (Hertford Road/London Road) and A414 (London Road/Mangrove Road).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BAAS LANE, BROXBOURNE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Baas Lane, Broxbourne from a point in line with the northern boundary of ‘Woodside’ south westwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Baas Lane, Park Lane, A1170 High Road, Bell Lane and Baas Lane.
The Order is needed because electrical service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE STREET, BRAUGHING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Street, Braughing from its northernmost junction with The Square south westwards to its junction with Green Lane, a distance of approximately 113m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via The Square, Pelham Road, Braughing Road, Patient End, C35 (unnamed road), C15 (unnamed road), Gravesend, Clapgate, Albury Road, Standon Road, A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road/Kents Lane/Standon Road), A10 Puckeridge Bypass, B1368 (Wickham Hill/Station Road), Fore Street and The Street.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (A507 CLOTHALL ROAD, BALDOCK, CLOTHALL AND RUSHDEN, A507 BALDOCK ROAD, RUSHDEN, COTTERED AND BUNTINGFORD) (7.5 TONNES WEIGHT LIMIT) ORDER 2023
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a new 7.5 tonne weight limit on parts of Baldock, Clothall, Rushden, Cottered and Buntingford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Wednesday 28 August 2024.
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are held on deposit and may be viewed from 6 June 2024 to 18 July 2024 during office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or online at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/ trafficorders by selecting North Herts and looking at Ref: NH00323.

SCHEDULE: 7.5 tonnes weight limit – those sections of road listed below and as set out in the Order and scheme plan – Parts of A507 Clothall Road, Baldock, Clothall and Rushden and A507 Baldock Road, Rushden, Cottered and Buntingford.
