Tunbridge Wells, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

Highways

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA

Coppers Lane, Brenchley, TN12 7PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coppers Lane, Brenchley, on or after 1st July 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Coppers. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Coppers Lane, B2160 Maidstone Road, Brenchley Road and vice versa.

 

Flishinghurst Lane, Goudhurst, TN17 2QD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new electric connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Flishinghurst Lane, Goudhurst, on or after 17th June 2024 for up to 17 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between A262 Goudhurst Road and Chalk Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Chalk Lane, B2085 Glassenbury Road, A262 Goudhurst Road and vice versa.

 

High Street, Bidborough, TN3 0UN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Bidborough, on or after 17th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside 8. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Street, B2176 Bidborough Ridge, B2176 Penshurst Road, Barden Road, Speldhurst Hill, Etherington Hill, Stockland Green Road, Franks Hollow Road and vice versa.

 

Mill Lane, Frittenden, TN17 2EJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow overhead fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Lane, Frittenden, on or after 19th June 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Brook, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Headcorn Road, Staplehurst Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.

 

Post Office Road, Hawkhurst, TN18 4BJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow new gas connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Post Office Road, Hawkhurst, on or after 1st July 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Bay Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via A268 High Street, Northgrove Road and vice versa.

 

Staplehurst Road, Cranbrook, TN17 2EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Staplehurst Road, Cranbrook, on or after 5th July 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Sinksnorth Farmhouse. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Staplehurst Road, Frittenden Road, A229 Cranbrook Road, A229 Knoxbridge, A229 Rocks Hill, A229 Camden Hill, A229 The Common, Common Road, Frittenden Road, Cranbrook Road, The Street, Headcorn Road, Staplehurst Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

 

Victoria Road, Southborough, TN4 0LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024

To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Victoria Road, Southborough, on or after 19th June 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Pump House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bentham Hill, Stockland Green Road, Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, A26 St Johns Road, A26 London Road, Victoria Road and vice versa.
