B3400 High Street, Overton, Basingstoke Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – B3400 HIGH STREET, OVERTON, BASINGSTOKE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of B3400 High Street between a point approximately 45 Metres East and West of its junction with Red Lion Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3051, Cole Henley Road, Kingsclere Road, Newbury Road, B3400
DURATION OF ORDER: from 21st June 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:00 – 17:00).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cappagh Browne to carry out a frame and cover repair in carriageway. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: NRSWA@CBUL.UK
Cappagh Browne will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
