TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH ST ALBANS 30
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath St Albans 30, heading south east from St Michaels Street to junction with St Albans City 34, for an approximate distance of 700 m. Alternative route: no suitable alternative on PRoW network The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 07 June 2024 for up to 6 months, when signs are in place. NOTICE OF MAKING OF A DIVERSION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 119 (SANDRIDGE FOOTPATH 26) DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order made on 9th May 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the public footpath running from TL 1804 0973 generally SW through Nashes Farm for approx 290m to a junction with House Lane (Public Highway) at TL 1782 0956 to a line running from TL 1804 0973 generally WNW for approx 100m to TL 1794 0975 then generally SW, on the NW side of the bund, for approx 100m to TL 1785 0969 and continuing generally SSW for approx 135m to a junction with House Lane (Public Highway) at TL 1782 0956.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS
IN SUMMERHOUSE LANE, ALDENHAM) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Summerhouse Lane, Aldenham from its junction with Hilfield Lane north eastwards to its junction with Primrose Lane, a distance of approximately 723m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Hilfield Lane, B462 Radlett Road and Primrose Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall ony take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SOUTHDOWN ROAD, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Southdown Road, Harpenden from its junction with Marlborough Park north westwards for a distance of approximately 120m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Southdown Road, Walkers Road, A1081 St Albans Road, Bull Road and Southdown Road. The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall ony take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the service road fronting Nos.330-340 Camp Road, St Albans from its easternmost junction with Camp Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 17m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Camp Road and the service road fronting Nos.330-340 Camp Road. The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Leyton Road, Harpenden from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.33 Leyton Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Leyton Road, West Common Road, A1081 St Albans Road, Bull Road and Leyton Road. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hemel Hempstead Road, Redbourn from a point 10m south west of its junction with Chequer Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Hemel Hempstead Road, The Common, Fish Street, High Street, B487 Redbourn Bypass and Hemel Hempstead Road.
The Order is needed because gas service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall ony take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ALBION ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Albion
Road, St Albans from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.1 Albion Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Albion Road, A1057 Hatfield Road,
Cavendish Road, Cecil Road and Albion Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed
to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 10 June
2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions
specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on
or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES IN SOPWELL LANE, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of road ("the lengths of Road") will be:-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sopwell Lane, St Albans from its junction with A5183 Holywell Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 35m, except for access. An alternative route will be via A5183 Holywell Hill, Belmont Hill, Thorpe Road and Sopwell Lane.
2. The existing one way traffic system on that length of Sopwell Lane, St Albans from its junction with Thorpe Road north westwards to its junction with A5183 Holywell Hill, a distance of approximately 285m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicular traffic to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed
to be executed on or near the lengths of Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 13 June
2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions
specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on
or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A5183 HOLYWELL HILL, ST ALBANS) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A5183 Holywell Hill, St Albans from its junction with A1081 London Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 70m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via A5183 (High Street/Verulam Road/ Folly Lane/Redbourn Road), A4147 Bluehouse Hill, King Harry Lane, B4630 Watford Road, A5183 St Stephens Hill and A5183 Holywell Hill or via A5183 Holywell Hill, A1081 London Road, A414 North Orbital Road and A5183 (Watling Street/St Stephens Hill/
Holywell Hill).
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Park Avenue, St Albans from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.19 Park Avenue northwards for a distance of approximately 20m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via Park Avenue, Brampton Road, Woodstock Road North, Jennings Road and Park Avenue. The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Smug Oak Lane, Bricket Wood from its junction with Drop Lane south westwards for a distance of approximately 450m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Smug Oak Lane, A5183 (Radlett Road/Frogmore/Park Street), Park Street Lane, Station Road and Smug Oak Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B651 Lamer Lane, Wheathampstead from its junction with Plough Lane south eastwards for a distance of approximately 212m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via B651 (Lamer Lane/Kimpton Road/ Ballslough Hill/High Street), B652 (High Street/Kimpton Bottom/ Bower Heath Lane), B653 Lower Luton Road and B651 Lamer Lane. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PEPPARD CLOSE, REDBOURN) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Peppard Close, Redbourn from a point 35m south west of its junction with Dunstable Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 50m ("the Road"). There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because electrical repair works are proposed to be executed near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 24 June 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the proposed Orders may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9am and 5pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).
