U6537 BURNSIDE BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Burnside Bedlington in the County of Northumberland:-
U6537 Burnside from its point outside of house number 144 heading southeast for a distance of 145 metres.
U6537 Burnside from its point outside of house number 130 heading southwest for a distance of 70 metres.
U6537 Burnside from its point outside of house number 108 heading eastwards for a distance of 105 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st July 2024 until the 2nd January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 22nd August 2024 until the 26th August 2024 between the hours of 8:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be Burnside and Clayton Street Bedlington.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway resurfacing works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
