U9515 GRANTHAM STREET BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9515 Grantham Street Blyth from its junction with Wensleydale Terrace heading west for a distance of 45 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd July 2024 until the 19th July 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd July 2024 until the 3rd July 2024 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 19th July 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Nixon Terrace and Dent Street.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water Ltd to carry out a CCTV survey and cleansing to the sewer in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
