What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(TRAFFIC REGULATION; RESTRICTIONS ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING, STOPPING AND PARKING PLACES) (VARIATION NO. _) ORDER 202_ – TRO/22/17 A

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended to introduce Allanfield, Allanfield Pl & Dicksonfield to the Controlled Parking Zone N1, which operates Mon to Fri inclusive during the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm. The cost of a resident parking permit will be as follows. Vehicles registered prior to March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to engine size. Vehicles registered after March 2001 will have charges applied in relation to CO2 emissions.

The new charges shown above will come into effect on 15/07/24.

Visitors’ permit charges will be, in the case of 90-minute permits, £2.50 per permit and for any resident eligible for the enhanced number of visitors permits, £1.25 per permit. Alternatively, in the case of permits issued in 30-minute increments, the charge will be £0.833 per permit and for any resident eligible for the enhanced number of visitors permits, £0.416 per permit.

Details of the draft Order and related documents, including our privacy notice, can be viewed online from 07/06/24 to 28/06/24 at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/trafficorders and www.tellmescotland.gov.uk, or at Waverley Court Reception between 9:30am & 3:30pm Mon-Fri during the same period. Objectors must state their reasons in writing with reference TRO/22/17A to Traffic Orders, Place, Waverley Court, 4 East Market St, Edinburgh, EH8 8BG, or by email to TRO.consultations@edinburgh.gov.uk, not later than 28/06/24. Objections should state the name and address of the objector. If you are responding to this consultation and your comments or objection relate to any particular element/s of the proposal, it would be helpful if you could identify those in your response.
