Temporary Closure of Eastern Avenue
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Eastern Avenue - from the junction with Ash Close, northwards for a total distance of 155 metres. This Order will enable Wales and West Utilities to lay a new gas main.
The Order becomes effective on 18th June 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 24th June 2024 and last until 28th June 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
