Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
ASHFORD AREA
THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, ASHFORD) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS & STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2023 (AMENDMENT No.13) ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposed to make the following Order:-
BLAKE COURT – DYL – On the northwest side from its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south westerly direction. BREADLANDS ROAD - DYL – On the southeast side from its junction with Osborne Road to its northern boundary with 76 Breadlands Road. MILL VIEW - DYL – On the southeast side from its junction with Osborne Road for a distance of 18 metres in a south westerly direction. OSBORNE ROAD – DYL – (1) On the northeast side from its western boundary with 202 Osborne Road for a distance of 31 metres in a south easterly direction. (2) On the southwest side from its junction with Mill View for a distance of 23 metres in a south easterly direction. (3) On the southwest side from its junction with Breadlands Road to the existing bus stop clearway in a south easterly direction. (4) On the southwest side from its junction with Blake Court to the existing bus stop clearway in a north westerly direction.

DARTFORD AREA

(VARIOUS TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT No.1)
ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council proposes to make the above named Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3, 4, 19, 65(1), 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and having regard to Section 122 of the Act and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order:-
The effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles from entry except buses on the following length of road in Dartford:-
FASTRACK INGRESS LINK - At the junction with Station Approach change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses. FASTRACK THE BRIDGE – At the junction with Joyce Green Lane for a distance of 245 metres in a northerly direction change the existing restriction to No Entry Except Local Buses and Cycles. FASTRACK DARTFORD CROSSING – At the junction with Crossways Boulevard change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses. INGRESS PARK AVENUE – At the junction with Fastrack Ingress Link change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses. MARSH STREET NORTH – At the junction with Fastrack The Bridge Change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses. RENNIE DRIVE – (1) At the junction with Fastrack The Bridge Change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses. (2) At the junction with Fastrack Dartford Crossing Change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses. (3) Place a new bus lane on the eastern carriageway for a distance of 62 metres from the junction with Fastrack Dartford Crossing. (5) On the eastern side from the roundabout with Fastrack The Bridge place a new Bus Lane from a point 41 metres north for a distance of 32 metres in a northerly direction. WILLIAM MUNDY WAY – Over the River Darent change the existing signage to No Entry Except Local Buses and Cycles.

ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that the Kent County Council proposes to make the above named Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3, 4, 19, 65(1), 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) as amended and of all other enabling powers, and having regard to Section 122 of the Act and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order:-
The effect of the Order would be to prohibit all vehicles from entry except for Buses and Taxis on the following length of road in Gravesend, Gravesham:-

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Notice is given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL hereby propose to make the above named Order under sections under Sections 81, 82, 84 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act:
The effect of the Order will be to implement a 20mph speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Gravesham:
BATH STREET – On the southbound carriageway for its entire length.

(CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT No.17) ORDER 2024
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.
The effect of the Order is to introduce a no waiting at any time double yellow lines (DYL) on the following length of roads in Gravesend, Gravesham:-
BATH STREET – (1) On the east side place remove DYL and replace with an 18 metre Taxi Bay 5 metres from its junction with Church Street. (2) On the east side place a Taxi Bay from a point 13 metres south of its junction with Clifton Road for a distance of 41 metres in a southerly direction. (3) On both sides move the crossing point to its northern junction with Clifton Road. (4) On the west side replace DYLs and loading restrictions where the crossing zig zags have been removed.(5) On the east side move the Taxi Bay to a point in line with the northern rear entrance to St Georges Court for a distance of 43 metres and place DYLs where the bay has been removed. (6) On the east side reduce the existing Taxi Bay by 15 metres and replace with a new crossing point. NEW STREET – On the north side at its eastern junction with Bath Street reduce the length of the Taxi Bay to 24 metres and place DYL on the remaining reduction.
