(Bognor Regis: Kingsmead Road) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Kingsmead Road in Bognor Regis, from its junction with Kingsmead Gardens to its junction with Lodge Close.
The road closure is needed to allow gas mains to be replaced in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 10 June 2024 and remain in force until 19 July 2024. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Pagham: Pagham Road)
(Temporary 40 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a 40 MPH speed limit on Pagham Road in Pagham, from its junction with Sefter Road southwards to the existing 30 MPH speed limit at its junction with Hook Lane.
This restriction is needed to allow footway improvement works to be carried out in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 10 June 2024 and remain in force until 30 August 2024. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Wisborough Green: Run Wisborough) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at any time along lengths of:-
(i) Durbans Road – from Kirdford Road to Howfold Lane;
(ii) Kirdford Road – the entire length;
(iii) Newpound Lane – from Kirdford Road to Howfold Lane
The Order is necessary to facilitate the Run Wisborough 2024.
The Order will come into operation on 9 June 2024 and will be in force between the hours of 0900 hours and 1130 hours.

(East Dean, Singleton & Westhampnett: Goodwood Three Friday Nights)
(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:
(i) prohibit vehicles from travelling along Pook Lane/Forge Yard
Road between Fordwater Road and Trundle Hill and along Racecourse Road between Kennel Hill and East Dean Hill; and
(ii) to require all vehicles travelling on Kennel Hill Road/Trundle Hill from a point 200 metres north of New Road northwards for a distance of 3.2 km and on Racecourse Road from Trundle Hill to East Dean Hill to travel at a speed not exceeding 30mph; and
(iii) to require all vehicles travelling on Kennel Hill Road from New Road northwards for a distance of 200 metres and on Racecourse Road from East Dean Hill eastwards for 300 metres and on Trundle Hill from Knights Hill
northwards for 30 metres to travel at a speed not exceeding 40mph
This Order is necessary to ensure safe access and egress for pedestrians and protect safety of local residents during the Goodwood Three Friday Night Concerts. The Order will come into operation on 6 June 2024.
The speed restrictions will be in place from 0800 hours on 6 June 2024 until 1700 hours on 8 June 2024, from 0800 hours on 13 June 2024 until 1700 hours on 15 June 2024 and from 0800 hours on 20 June 2024 until 1700 hours on 22 June 2024.
The road closures will be operative from 1500 hours on 7 June 2024 until 0100 hours on 8 June 2024, from 1500 hours on 14 June 2024 until 0100 hours on 15 June 2024 and from 1500 hours on 21 June 2024 until 0100 hours on 22 June 2024.

(Felpham: Firs Avenue) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Firs Avenue in Felpham throughout its entire length.
The road closure is needed to maintain safety while highway improvement works are carried out.
The Order will come into effect on 25 June 2024 and remain in force until 1 July 2024. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Petworth: A272, A283 & Various Roads) (20mph, 30mph And 50mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council proposes to introduce a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce:-
(i) a 20mph speed limit on lengths of A272 Pound Street, A283 Angel Street, A283 Church Street, A283 East Street, A283 Market Square, A283 New Street, A283 North Street, A283 Park Road, A283 Saddlers Row, Barton Lane, Grove
Street, High Street, Middle Street, Orchard Close, Rosemary Lane, Sheepdown Close and Sheepdown Drive; and

(Arun District) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2010) (Bognor Regis: The Esplanade Amendment) Order 2024 And West Sussex County Council (Bognor Regis: The Esplanade) (20 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024 And Bognor Regis: The Esplanade Traffic Calming Features
NOTICE is hereby given that West Sussex County Council proposes to make two permanent Traffic regulation Orders under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the first Order will be to amend the layout of the parking bays on The Esplanade in Bognor Regis between its junctions with Lennox Street and Clarence Road.
The second Order introduces a 20 MPH speed limit on The Esplanade from its junction with Lennox Street eastwards to its junction with Clarence Road.
It is also proposed to install three raised traffic calming features on The Esplanade. Features would be installed at the location of both current puffin crossings between Lennox Street and Clarence Road, with a further feature approximately 50m east of its junction with Lennox Street. These features will be constructed in black macadam and constructed 6m in width and 65mm in height.
