Order made: To close that part of U54150 Happy Land North from its junction with U54151 Happy Land West to its junction with U54149 Knight Street.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Southbound: U54151 Happy Land West, A44 Bromyard Road, U54149 Knight Street. Diversion Northbound: U54149 Knight Street, U54147 Lambert Road, U54151 Happy Land West and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 11 days between 7 June 2024 and 17 June 2024.

(U47408 Seaford Lane, Naunton Beauchamp) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U47408 Seaford Lane from its junction with B4082 Seaford for a distance of 200 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4082 Seaford, C2225 B4082 to North Piddle Lane, U47408 Seaford Lane (part) and vice versa.

(U50319 Northwick Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50319 Northwick Road from its junction with U50365 Green Lane for a distance of 585 metres in a southerly direction until the junction with Bixton Close (NSG ref 45001958).

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50365 Green Lane, A449 Ombersley Road, U50336 Beckett Road, U50319 Northwick Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 1 July 2024 and 19 July 2024.

(U50221 New Bank Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50221 New Bank Street from its junction with U50221 Turral Street to its junction with U50220 Gregorys Mill Street.

Reason: New Customer telecommunication connection by Cass Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Clockwise: U50221 Turral Street, U50222 Northcote Street, U50220 Gregorys Mill Street, Diversion Anticlockwise: U50221 Bromsgrove Street, U50215 Crown Street, A38 Droitwich Road, U50221 Turral Street.

Order made: To close that part of U54126 Emerald Road from its junction with U54128 Solitaire Avenue to its junction with U54123 Penhill Crescent.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54123 Penhill Crescent, U54121 Brookside Road, U54128 Solitaire Avenue and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54158 Watery Lane from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road to its junction with B4485 Bransford Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A44 Bromyard Road, B4206 St. Johns, B4485 Bransford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:00-06:00) between 1 July 2024 and 19 July 2024.

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: U52326 Richmond Hill from its junction with C2290 Wyld's Lane to its junction with U52325 Richmond Road. Closure 2: U52326 St. Wulstans Crescent from its junction with U52325 Richmond Road to its junction with U52324 Cole Hill.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2209 Abbots Wood from its junction with U47619 Abbotswood Road to its junction with C2209 Station Road.

Reason: To renew BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50117 Hungerpit Walk, Droitwich Road from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road for a distance of 78 metres in a Westerly direction.

Reason: Safe working for utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of: Closure 1 - A443 Henwick Road from its junction with B4204 Martley Road to its junction with U54000 Oldbury Road. Closure 2 - A443 Hylton Road from its junction with A443 Henwick Road for a distance of 490 metres in a southerly direction. Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

(Link Footpath F50323 Howcroft Green (outside No 11) to Link Footpath F50322 Tolladine Road, Warndon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50323 Howcroft Green (outside No 11) from its junction with Link Footpath F50322 Tolladine Road (between Playgrounds) to its junction with U51193 Howcroft Green.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Link Footpath F50322 Tolladine Road (between Playgrounds), Link Footpath F50425 Broadfield Gardens (between Nos 35 & 37), U51191 Broadfield Gardens, U51190 Bearcroft Avenue, U51193 Howcroft Green and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days between 2 July 2024 and 12 July 2024.

(U54280 Manor Road/U54280 Priory Road/U54280 Earlsdon Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U54280 Manor Road from its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Road to its junction with U54280 Priory Road. Closure 2: U54280 Priory Road from its junction with U54280 Manor Road to its junction with U54280 Earlsdon Road. Closure 3: U54280 Earlsdon Road from its junction with U54280 Priory Road to its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Road.

Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54268 Hanbury Park Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 26 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 1 July 2024.

(Link Footpath F50130 Parkview Terrace to Northwick Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50130 Parkview Terrace to Northwick Close, from its junction with Cove Gardens (Private) (NSG ref. 45001844) to its junction with Chasewater Avenue (Private) (NSG ref. 45000215).

Reason: Footpath reconstruction due to subsidence by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: No possible diversion as the roads/footpaths leading to the closure are private.

Maximum duration: 6 months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 1 July 2024.

(B4205 Lowesmoor Terrace, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4205 Lowesmoor Terrace from its junction with B4205 Pheasant Street (westbound only) to its junction with U53030 Lowesmoor.

Reason: Installation of new (keep left) signage by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of U50220 Gregorys Mill Street from its junction with U50221 New Bank Street to its junction with U50132 Raglan Street.

Reason: New customer connection by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52117 Arundel Drive from its junction with U52124 Battenhall Avenue to its junction with U52123 Pevensey Close.

Reason: Telecoms works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U52124 Battenhall Avenue, U52119 Goodwood Avenue, U52117 Arundel Drive (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 1 July 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Stanley Road and Wylds Lane, Worcester) (No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.00pm) Order 2024

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on School Entrance Markings on the following lengths of roads in Worcester:-

Stanley Road (East side) From a point 108 metres north of its junction with Wylds Lane for a distance of 78 metres in a northerly direction.

Wylds Lane (South side) From a point 136 metres east of its junction with Richmond Hill for a distance of 30 metres in an easterly direction.

The Order will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes.

(City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Waiting on Shap Drive & Edgeworth Close, Worcester] and Worcestershire County Council (Honister Drive & Edgeworth Close, Worcester) (No Stopping on School Entrance Markings).

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:

Shap Drive (Both sides): From its junction with Windermere Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

Restriction of Waiting Mon-Sat 8.30am-5.30pm:

Shap Drive (Southeast side): From a point 12 metres southwest of its junction with Honister Drive for a distance of 13 metres in a south westerly direction. Northwest side: From a point 10 metres northeast of its junction with Windermere Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction. Edgeworth Close (West side): From a point 10 metres south of its junction with Chedworth Drive for a distance of 36 metres in a southerly direction. Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school entrance markings Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm as follows:

From a point 12 metres southwest of its junction with Honister Drive for a distance of 13 metres in a south westerly direction.

From a point 10 metres northeast of its junction with Windermere Drive for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

From a point 10 metres south of its junction with Chedworth Drive for a distance of 36 metres in a southerly direction. Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to as follows:

Honister Drive (North side): From the centre point of its junction with Shap Drive for a distance of 18 metres in an easterly direction and 22 metres in a westerly direction.

From the centre point of its junction with Shap Drive for a distance of metres in an easterly direction and 22 metres in a westerly direction.

Edgeworth Close (Both sides): From a point 46 metres south of its junction with Chedworth Drive around the turning head in its entirety. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
