NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/07/2024 and have a maximum duration of 18 months. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 18 months. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake construction works for the Melton Mowbray Distributor Road, Statutory Utility Companies to undertake associated service diversions and for LCC to undertake any maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site. No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations. The effect of which will be to allow for the restrictions of those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. No speed limit imposed by this order applies to vehicles falling within regulation 3(4) of the Road Traffic Exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and Amendment) Regulations 2011 when used in accordance with regulation 3(5) of those Regulations. Any member of the public requiring further information should contact Leicestershire Highways on 01163050001. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/07/2024 and have a maximum duration of 1 month. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake a new service connection installation in the highway.
