Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Northminster To Stanley Recreation Ground Cyclepath 2024. Ref: 25-056
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycleway known as Northminster To Stanley Recreation Ground Cyclepath, as lies between Northminster and Stanley Recreation Ground. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this Order is: Stanley Park, Church Walk, Broadway and vice versa. The Order will come into operation on the 12/06/2024 and will continue until the Footway resurfacing works have been completed or until the 11/12/2024, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Broadway, Peterborough. Ref: 25-036
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Broadway, as lies between Midgate and Cattle Market Footpath. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Midgate, City Rd, Northminster and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/06/2024 and will continue until the telecoms maintenance works have been completed or until the 09/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 09:00hrs and 18:00hrs on the 10/06/2024 only. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Mill Road, Maxey, as lies between number 2 and High Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: High St, Castle End Rd, Mill Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/06/2024 and will continue until the water mains repair and installation works have been completed or until the 09/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 10/06/2024 and the 25/06/2024. The proposed order will come into force on the 10/06/2024 and will continue until the carriageway repair works have been completed or until the 09/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 10/06/2024 and 13/06/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as City Road, as lies between Northminster and St Johns Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Northminster, New Road, St Johns Street. The proposed order will come into force on the 22/06/2024 and will continue until the telecommunications works have been completed or until the 21/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 22/06/2024 and the 24/06/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Elliot Avenue Footpath, Bretton, Peterborough – 2024. Ref: 25-014
The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as Elliot Avenue Footpath, Bretton as lies between Elliot Avenue and Longthorpe House Mews. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Egar Way Footpath and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 17/06/2024 and will continue until the gas mains replacement works have been completed or until the 16/12/2024, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Thorney Road, Peakirk, Peterborough. Ref: 25-039
The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Thorney Road, Peakirk as lies between points 20 metres either side of the Folly Bank Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: via B1443 Thorney Rd, Werrington Bridge Rd, Glinton Bypass, B1443 Lincoln Rd, High St, Peakirk Rd, St Pegas Rd and vice versa.The proposed Order will come into force on the 17/06/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 16/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 23:00hrs and 05:00hrs from the 17/06/2024 to the 19/06/2024. BR1

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Fulbridge Road, Paston, as lies between number 109 and 114. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: A47, Welland Rd, St Pauls Rd and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 17/06/2024 and will continue until the gas mains replacement works have been completed or until the 16/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 17/06/2024 and the 05/07/2024. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1166 South Eau Bank, B1187 The Bank, Murrow Bank, Gull Bank, Gull Rd, A47, B1167 New Cut and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 17/06/2024 and will continue until the bank repair works have been completed or until the 16/06/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 17/06/2024 and the 28/06/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the roads known as Burghley Road and Henry Street, at their junction. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Lincoln Road, Dogsthorpe Road, Park Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 16/06/2024 and will continue until the water main works have been completed or until the 15/06/2025, whichever is the earlier.
