ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(TURNER STREET, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Turner Street, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Turner Street, Northampton from Magee Street to 51 Turner Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd July 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Magee Street, Derby Road and Stimpson Avenue.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
(HEREWARD ROAD, FAWSELY ROAD & BLENHEIM ROAD, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PERMIT PARKING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to allow permit along those lengths of roads specified in the Schedule below.
REASON FOR PERMIT PARKING: The temporary permit parking is for safety during the egress of a concert.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th June 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will allow permit parking for two nights.

(LONDON ROAD, ROADE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of London Road, Roade as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of London Road, Roade from over the railway bridge.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during bridge examination works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th June 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one night.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A508 Roade bypass.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Derby Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Derby Road, Northampton from St Michael’s Mount to Magee Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during overhead works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th June 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use St Michael’s Mount, Turner Street and Magee Street.

(MAIN ROAD, HACKLETON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Main Road, Hackleton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Main Road, Hackleton from 15 Main Road to Carey Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of new gas supply.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 17th June 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted until 21st June 2024.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Carey Road.
