Brackley Gate - Temporary Road Closure To Facilitate Telecoms Installation

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE BRACKLEY GATE, MORLEY

WHEN: 26 June 2024 to 12 July 2024
WHERE: Brackley Gate, Morley
Phase 1 from the Jct. of Sandy Lane approx. 400m SW - no diversion required.
Phase 2 between the Jct. of Sandy Lane and Quarry Road after 28 June 2024 to 12 July 2024.
REASON: To facilitate telecoms installation.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cloves Hill, Wood Lane, Smalley Mill Road, Coxbench Road, Sandy Lane and vice versa for after the 28 June 2024 only.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
