What is happening?

TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE -

FALLOW FIELD FOOTPATH / MEADOW WAY SUBWAY / FALCON VIEW FOOTPATH (N-S), BADGER FARM, WINCHESTER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

FOOTPATHS TO BE CLOSED:

• that part of Fallow Field Footpath between its junction with Plough Way Footpath and its junction with Meadow Way Subway.

• that part of Meadow Way Subway between its junction with Fallow Field Footpath and its junction with Falcon View Footpath (N-S).

• that part of Falcon View Footpath (N-S) between its junction with Meadow Way Subway and its junction with Falcon View.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Falcon View, Harvest Close, Harvest Close Footpath, Plough Way, Plough Way Footpath.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 3rd June 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 12 weeks, in operation for 24 hours a day).

The footpath closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Lanes-i to carry out gas mains replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: william.terry@lanes-i.com

Lanes-i will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
