THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(SANDSACRE AVENUE AND SANDSACRE
DRIVE, BRIDLINGTON) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)
ORDER 2024

East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the
effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing
any vehicle to proceed along the entire length of both
Sandsacre Avenue and Sandsacre Drive, Bridlington.
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed
carriageway maintenance works, to be carried out and
completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the
safety of the public. It is anticipated that the works will
be completed within two days. The alternative route
for traffic affected by the Order is via Wheatley Drive,
Sewerby Road and Sandsacre Road. The road will be
open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access
to properties directly affected by the closure and for
emergency services. The Order will commence
6 June 2024, and continue in force for a period not
exceeding 18 months or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever
is the earlier.
Further information can be obtained from Streetscene
Services, Highways Customer Care, tel (01482) 393939.
